Please help in other ways, too!

As the temporary part-time Children’s and Youth Minister for St. John’s, I am asking for your help.  In order to provide a rich, loving and fun learning experience for all of St. John’s kids we need everyone, both big and small to play a part.  Remember, this is a promise we all pledge with every baptism ceremony we attend here at St. Johns.  Since all people learn through relationships, my goal is to bring everyone, young and old, closer together in our church community.  Everyone has a talent, hobby, or passion to share and who better to share it with than your family in Christ.   It is in giving that you receive – so what part of life can you share?

 Opportunities to Share:
Teddy Bear Chapel – Read a Story to the children in the Nursery 10:15-10:30 – Get to know our littlest parishioners!
Help put on a pageant – we need help creating costumes for three different productions we are doing this year.  Time:  After Worship Outside the Box at 9:30 – 10:00 a.m. (First and Third Sundays of each month)
Help out in the Classroom – Bible Stories experienced in today’s world.  Second, fourth (and fifth when necessary) Sundays from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
Make/Bring Food for Fellowship Hour
Buy Fair Trade Coffee – It supports all of the above!

I will provide a sign-up sheet on my office door and in the upper room at fellowship hour or you may send me e-mail.
